Sweet Threads is a New Zealand business located in beautiful Mount Maunganui; offering a carefully chosen collection of ethically sourced products. We choose to work with small family run businesses; keeping traditional methods of production alive, and ensuring that our artisans are paid fairly.
Our talented artisans come from Denizli, the Southwest region of Turkey, an area well known for producing beautiful quality textiles.
Our products include hand-loomed Turkish Peshtemal towels, blankets and throws, and are made using high-quality cotton grown in the south and southwest region of Turkey. The cotton is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, making it free from harmful chemicals. Our products are so versatile, and can be used as beach or bath towels, throws, blankets and more. They are lightweight, fast drying and become softer and more absorbent with each wash.
